This agreement between C-My Morgans,

owner of the Morgan Stallion,                                               register number,

Live foal guarantee

C-My Morgans guarantees a live foal from this mating. Live foal is defined as one which will stand and nurse. Should the mare abort, or the foal be born dead, the mare owner agrees to furnish to C-My Morgans, within 30 days of either event, a statement describing the occurrence, signed by a licensed veterinarian. Rebreed option is only available on the following breeding season.

 

Delivery of mare to C-My Morgans farm

For the protection of both the mare and stallion, all shots must be current, including West Nile Virus, Eastern and Western encephalitis, tetanus, rhino, and flu (shots must have been given a minimum of 14 days prior to arrival). All newly acquired mares must have a negative Coggins test. All mares must have been wormed at least 30 days prior to the time of arrival.

 

Mare Care and other charges

Vet charges for examinations and other services will be billed to the mare owner by C-My Morgans' veterinarian. C-My Morgans will provide the mare owner with a record of all breedings and examinations.

 

Stallion service fee

A non-refundable booking fee of $200.00 is payable at the time this contract is signed; the balance will be due when the mare arrives at C-My Morgans farm.

 

Waiver of liability

C-My Morgans owners will exercise their best judgement in caring for the mare (and foal) but shall not be liable for any injury, disability, disease, or death suffered by the mare or foal from any cause whatsoever while she (they) are on the premises of C-My Morgans , or in the care and/or control of the caretaker of the stallion.

The mare owner specifically assents to the foregoing and waives any and all claims resulting from any such injury, disability, disease, or death.

 

Insurance

Insurance to cover the mare is the responsibility of the mare owner; any special requirements of the mare owner's insurance company should be made known to C-My Morgans farm in writing at the time the mare is delivered to the farm.
